Dalyan & Mud Bath

Enjoyable an hour and half by bus/boat takes you to one of the rarest corners on the earth.

Dalyan is a little bit of everything: a boat trip, a coach trip, a cultural trip, a historical trip. The trip starts at 8:30 and ends at 19:00 pm. A coach and an English-speaking guide will pick you up after your breakfast. Arriving in Dalyan, the bus will stop at the river to make you catch one of the small boats to cross the river. The first place to visit is the mud bath and then, the sulfer pool, rock tombs (king tombs) the magnificient Rock Tombs, carved high in the cliff gives you the chance to get all the information. Seeing turtles (carettas carettas) at the Turtle Beach, which is one of the last breeding grounds of loggerhead turtles, is a long sand bank surrounded by salt water on the one side and fresh water on the other side. We will have lunch (inc. Prices) at our last place, the turtle beach. You will have two hours to spend on the beach. One side of beach is; green. The water is fresh river water. The other side of the water is blue. It is salty sea water. You will have the chance to swim in both waters. Sun beds and umbrellas are free of charge. Dalyan is the best memory in Turkey that you can have.

Turtle Beach is 7 km long and it has golden sand which is perfect for your children to play on sea side. This beach is under protection for the Loggerhead Caretta Caretta Turtles, in summer seasons they put their egg in the sand. On the beach if you see any iron cage it means that there are turtle eggs on this area. You’ll have the unique opportunity to get an up-close look at these lovely and majestic turtles. Beach has two sides; either you can swim in the salty water in sea side, or you can swim in the fresh water in the lake side.

Small river boats sailing in the river and will stop front of the King Tombs. You will get information from our professional guides about these rock tombs how and why they were builted on that high places. These tombs are handmade belong to Kings of Ancient Caunos City. First human activity in this region dates back to around the 10th century BCE.

Dalyan’s mud bath and hot springs thermal pools are very healthy. Soft mineral mud gets inside skin pores, it’s not only cleanses and tones the skin but also remedy of rheumatism and has anti-ageing properties. After allowing the mud to dry, it can be removed in a natural clear water sulphur pool, at temperatures of around 41 degree and its also good for immune system.

Don’t forget to take off all your jewellery, because the mud makes jewelleries darken.

This trip is not suitable for the person who has walking difficulties.
